Repairing Damaged Corner Edges

Easily touch-up damaged bare metal

Fast, easy tip for repairing and repainting damaged bare metal corner edges:

(hint - your ordinary wall paint won't adhere to the bare metal if you try to just touch it up)

  • Lightly sand smooth the damaged area (with #220 grit sandpaper)

  • Clean area of dust with dry rag

  • Lightly spray on multi-purpose primer either in latex, or oil based.

It's far easier to use a spray-on primer/stainblocker rather than having to mess with an ordinary gallon can of primer.

  • Let dry for 15 - 20 minutes

  • Touch-up with your original wall paint.
